"Information informed by experience. Her workshops speak to the skilled singer as well as the novice. Lynne is fun, funny and gets fantastic results. Really worth the money!"

- Dr. Cory Johnson
Professor of Theatre
St. Ambrose University

Lynne has developed a niche for coaching solo performers to truly "act the song" and bring all the elements of performance into their vocal presentations. Her combination of training in vocal technique and theatre enables her to address issues from both areas and lead students to a combination of peak vocal production and truly artistic presentation. Her SONGBIRTH workshops are flexible in format and singers have the opportunity to develop their own performance skills, learn from watching their peers perform - and they also will leave with a set of tools with which to approach future work.

Lynne has extensive experience doing educational workshops with all types of vocal ensembles and individual singers. She holds a B.A. in Music Education and Theatre from Luther College and a Master's of Music in Voice from Western Michigan University. Lynne has 30+ years of experience in music education at all levels and incorporates her vast theatre training and experience in all of her educational work.

Lynne has been a choral adjudicator for Heritage Music Festivals for 25 years, leading on-stage clinics for all types of vocal ensembles. She has adjudicated countless show choir and vocal jazz festivals around the country.
